Common non-negotiable rules

These rules apply to every lab, whatever the technology. A need that doesn’t comply with them is outside the lab scope and must go through another process. If in doubt: what do I need?

This is the only page that lists them. The Azure, Proxmox and Entra ID pages only cover what is specific to them.

3-month maximum

Technically enforced

A lab is temporary: it lasts three months at most, unless an extension is explicitly approved.

Monthly lab review

Handled by administrators

Administrators review all active labs every month.

Deletion notices

Technically enforced

Automatic notices 14 and 7 days before the end date, then the lab is deleted on the day.
